Gnosis Pay 的工作原理

The Gnosis Pay card connects an on-chain account to the Visa payment network through a small set of smart contracts.

When you sign up, a Gnosis Pay Safe is created for you. This is a Safe smart account (formerly Gnosis Safe) on Gnosis Chain, configured with Gnosis Pay modules, that serves as your spending account.

Transfer a supported stablecoin (for example EURe or GBPe) to your Gnosis Pay Safe. Your balance is visible on-chain at all times and remains under your control.

When you pay, the Visa network sends the authorisation to Gnosis Pay, which checks your on-chain balance and approves the payment within the usual card time limit.

Getting the Gnosis Pay card takes a few steps. Check the help center first to confirm the card is available in your country.

Gnosis Pay builds on Safe, a widely used smart account standard, and adds modules specific to card payments.

Your Gnosis Pay Safe is a smart account whose owner keys you control. Because the account lives on-chain, your ability to move funds does not depend on Gnosis Pay's servers, although the card itself does.

Gnosis Pay is a Visa debit card linked to a self-custodial Safe smart account on Gnosis Chain. You spend stablecoins held in that account at merchants that accept Visa, without first depositing funds with an exchange. Gnosis Pay runs the card programme and the fiat settlement with Visa; the funds stay in your account until each purchase.

Your Gnosis Pay account holds stablecoins on Gnosis Chain. EURe (euro) and GBPe (pound) are issued by Monerium, a licensed electronic money institution, and Gnosis Pay has added a US dollar stablecoin option. Purchases in another currency are converted at the Visa exchange rate plus any fee listed in the help center. Check the help center for the tokens supported in your region.

使用 Gnosis Pay 安全吗？

Gnosis Pay uses a Safe smart account that you control with your own keys, so no exchange holds your balance. A delay module gives you a window to cancel non-card transfers before they execute. This removes exchange counterparty risk but not all risk: you remain responsible for your keys, the stablecoins carry issuer risk, and the account relies on Gnosis Chain running normally. Read the Gnosis Pay and Safe documentation before you use it.

Gnosis Pay 与 Crypto.com 或 Binance 卡相比如何？

Crypto.com and Binance cards are custodial: you top up a balance held by the exchange, which converts crypto to fiat for you. Gnosis Pay is self-custodial: the stablecoins stay in your Safe until the moment of purchase, and each payment is settled on-chain. In exchange, Gnosis Pay supports fewer assets, and its fees, cashback and country coverage follow different rules. Compare the current terms on each provider's site before choosing.
